Polyflex Polymer Safety Barriers
Factors you should consider when choosing your barriers include:
-
Strength (Impact resistance)
-
Footprint (How much floor space will they consume?)
-
UV resistance: will they look old in just a few months time?
-
Modularity: will they adapt to your growth plans?
-
Cleanability: can they be wiped clean or do they need specialist chemicals
-
Compliant with highest Industry standards
-
Intergrable with other technologies, such as projected floor markings
If any of these factors are a concern to you, we may just be the perfect partner for you! Polyflex are uniqley strong, modular, fire resistant and offer the highest strength-to-size ratio for a polymer barrier.
If you are on this page, you are likely experiencing a few of the following frustrations:
Polymer (Plastic) Barriers
are not always effective...
Depending on the type of plastic your barriers are made of, and the strength of the material, the outcomes can vary massively. The original picture shown here is a plastic barrier not designed to withstand the correct amount of force, therefore it has been wrapped to hold it together around the column after significant damage. The after image, shows our barrier after installation.
Remember to:
- Ask for the impact resistance of the barriers that are suggested to you
- Consider the force of the impact that you will likely have in that area
Pedestrian Safety Barriers
In bustling industrial settings where heavy loads are common, pedestrian safety is paramount. The Pedestrian Safety Barriers are the ideal solution, ensuring clear segregation and protection of pedestrian zones. With high-visibility colour and versatile design, these barriers minimise collision risks and enhance workplace safety.
Rack Protections
These Rack Protections offer maximum resistance, easy installation, and hassle-free maintenance. With an innovative internal structure featuring 3 shock absorbers made of the same polymer material as the safety barriers, our rack protections effectively absorb frontal and lateral impacts from moving vehicles. These protections have no need for floor fixing, meaning floor space is maximised.
Bollards
Our impact-resistant safety bollards are designed to safeguard doors and protruding corners from accidental impacts with forklifts and other moving vehicles. These bollards also have high-visibility in the workplace meaning they can act as a beacon to warn employees of a potential asset that could be impacted.
Warning Bars
Our Warning Bars are ceiling-mounted protection systems to help prevent collisions between forklifts and overhead doors and infrastructure. The warning bar serves as a visual and audible (with the sound warning bar) aid, alerting drivers and encouraging cautious navigation to avoid exceeding height limits.
What are the main benefits of this range?
People, machinery, and assets are the main areas that suffer damage from moving vehicle impacts. Our walkway and pedestrian barriers offer a comprehensive solution to safeguard your workspace and personnel from potential hazards.
Engineered with durability and functionality in mind and tested to the full UNI/TR 11886 specification, these barriers provide superior impact resistance, ensuring long-lasting protection against accidental collisions and impacts. These barriers are highly flexible, scratch-resistant, easy to clean, space-saving, shock-absorbing, modular, and on top of all of that, are fire resistant!
